A LANCASTER mother has died a week after she was involved in a car collision on the Heysham Bypass.
Katerina Howden, 31, died at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on Sunday.
Her husband of seven years, Simon Howden, 43, was also killed when their Skoda car collided with another on the Heysham Bypass on Saturday, February 23.
The couple's twenty-three-month-old daughter Amalka died in hospital on Wednesday.
Bela Howden, seven, is still being treated in Pendlebury Children's hospital where her condition is 'improving' but she is still 'very poorly'.
Four-year-old Olen Howden has been discharged from hospital and is now being cared for by his family.
Diane Helme, 48, of Heysham, also died as a result of the collision.

Drivers constantly overtake in the face of oncoming traffic on this road, something needs to be done to prevent this, be it speed cameras or traffic islands, otherwise it is only a matter of time until we hear of another tragic accident on this scale.
